Priceless

Testing positive on an expired pregnancy test: $.50
Walking into Walgreens with my 3 kids in tow to buy a new pregnancy test: Priceless.

I didn't walk in Walgreens, but I thought it would be funny if I did. I did take a blood test to confirm this pregnancy, wow! I don't know the due date for sure, but am guessing it will be in March. I've heard many comments, "You're brave; You're crazy; You would have made a good Mormon; You guys are like bunnies." I have a feeling that my life as I live it now is going to drastically change with this 4th baby, which isn't bad, just different. That's what this whole life is about anyway, right? Dying to self... And to top it all off, we are going to have a home birth! Yes, to the world around us, we are officially crazy!

Yay! Congratulations! And I think you're right, with 4 kids you have now officially pushed the envelope of what is considered "normal". :) So yeah, you will probably get comments like that for the rest of your life... but who cares? Kids are great!

Wow! Exciting news!! I'm so happy for you guys! If people tell you that you're brave, take it as a compliment. You are brave. Especially since you have 3 and you know what a sacrifice each child is for you and your husband. Brave, selfless, amazing, totally awesome... those are a few words that pop into my head. :)
I'm really happy for you and I'll pray that this pregnancy goes well for you and that your tiny little one will be healthy and brought to full term.

Yippee!!

Ah! I just noticed you said you're going to do a home birth. Its so funny because that's our plan with our 4th... if we have a 4th. You never know. :)
Anyway, are you going to do a water birth?? I wish I could this time, but we didn't plan ahead for it.

As I sit here bleary eyed from my day with my ONE 6 month old I think, yes you are crazy. But then again I will probably be here someday as well and so because of that I say, not you are not crazy : ) And I hope your homebirth is an awesome experience - yay for that too.

I am so happy and excited for you. I always admire women with many children in tow, with the little heads one just after another.

I hope you will love your home birth experience, it will be fun to have all the children involved with that as well.

"don't you know how this is happening?!" when you get asked that one, do me a favor and say "No! Can you tell me?" and keep a straight face. THAT is priceless. :)

Congrats :) People are always saying those things to us too ... we have four boys.

I don't think people realize how ridiculous they sound sometimes. I often hear "What would you have done if one were a girl?" I usually just say, "Well then I'd have three boys and one girl now wouldn't I?"

As if I planned on them being boys or something. Goofy people.

From a crazy mother of four, I can heartily say congratulations. I am so excited for you guys. You are an amazing woman. Keep up the smile, and know that there will be days when you're wondering what the heck to do, but there are also the precious times with your four little ones and it is truley a delight! Hugs and love, Jules.

Congratulations! That is so exciting. Is it bad that I purposely didn't my three kids inside with me to buy my last pregnancy test? I went thru the Walgreens drive-thru and they actually let me buy a pregnancy test that way. =)

Congratulations! I don't think you're crazy at all for the home birth - I've had all four of mine and home and those were the best moments in my life!
